Day 1: Chikmagalur Arrival & Sightseeing

Pick up in our exclusive car upon your arrival at Chikmagalur. Drop at your chosen hotel as per the package. After check-in and freshening up, visit the popular attractions of Chikmagalur with our courteous driver cum guide.

Our first attraction is Mullayanagiri peak, located at a distance of around 23 km from Chikmagalur. It boasts of being the highest peak in Karnataka. It also has a shrine dedicated to Tapasvi Mullappa Swamy. Along with the temple, it is a popular trekking site with enchanting views of the surrounding valleys.

Around 19 km from Chikmagalur and 3 km from Mullayanagiri, our next stop Seethalayanagiri is a scenic location with mesmerising views and a Lord Shiva temple dedicated to Seethala Mallikarjuna Swamy. In Seethalayam Giri temple, you will see water all around the holy shivalinga. There is also a cave located near to the temple. The trek to the top of the peak is fairly easy and is at a walking distance from the parking.

Next we will stop at Siri Cafe, an ideal place for quick refreshments with the best of coffee, tea and snacks. It has a small counter outside as well as comfortable seating inside. The cafe is especially known for its captivating sculpture of a woman. The huge sculpture is built in front of the cafe and is a popular place for photographs. A small pool in front of the statue adds further to its beauty.

Next we will proceed to Honnamana Halla Falls, also known as ManikyaDhara Falls, with a height of 30 feet, located in the middle of the forest of Baba Budangiri hills. Not only a scenic picnic spot, it has religious significance among both Hindu and Muslim devotees. Visitors often take a dip at the waterpool, which can be reached via 200 steps. You will also find many shops selling herbal medicine near the waterfall.

Located 12 km from Baba Budangiri, Jhari Fall impresses everyone with its scenic yet thunderous beauty. Flowing down over the steep rocks of the mountains, it forms wide streams of water, which also led to its name as Buttermilk Falls. Refreshing greenery of the forest and the coffee plantations surround this waterfall.
